Happy Friday!! This week over on the Sisters in Stamping blog we are sharing projects featuring the clear window sheets. I had an idea in my head about how I wanted my card to look and it turned out exactly as I had envisioned it - I love it when that happens!
Here's another view - the flower and rhinestones appear to be floating but they're actually attached to a strip of the clear window sheets.. cool effect, right?! The window sheet is attached to the backside of the card stock and held in place with tear and tape adhesive which is strong enough to hold.
When I originally stamped my sentiment it didn't quite line up with my "window" so I stamped on another strip of whisper white and hid the seams with two strips of real red card stock. There are no mistakes, just embellishment opportunities! I heard that many years ago from my stamping friend Missy Shipman and I think it is fantastic!
Here's one more view of my card. For even more clear window sheet inspiration please be sure to hop over to the Sisters in Stamping blog to check out what the other designers created this week.
